Pa gave me antibiotics that where too strong gave me c-diff. Will not get antibiotics from them again.
Was chaotic and staff not rude to clientle but each other. Also, the physician shouted at nurses for assistance regarding sensitive patient info to level where waiting room could hear such as "room 2 waiting for UTI screening". Receptionist pulling items out of trash meant to be affixed to lab samples.... I'm sure the place is a HIPPA nightmare.
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. I went in for a boil on my wrist that was causing me a TON of pain and my hand was visibly swollen. I saw the nurse practitioner Mary Robinson, and she basically told me it was nothing, not infected at all. She said she'd give me a round of antibiotics just in case and cultured it. I asked for an excuse for work tonight and she told me it wasn't enabling me, and changed her mind about giving me antibiotics, and Basically laughed me out the door. The next day I woke up, and my hand was completely swollen to the point I couldn't move it. Went to the ER, got an antibiotics, they took a culture, and came back with STAFF! Np Mary never sent the culture in, or they would have known it was staff infection. If she would have treated me to begin with my hand wouldn't have swelled up to the point it did. These people they have working there are complete jokes. Makes me wonder if they even went to med school. I wouldn't want to go here again even on my death bed.
Horrible!!!!! We walked in at 6:26 (they close at 7) we held the door for a mom and Her two little ones THEN are greeted by the staff who tells us they can only see two more patients!!!!! We were stunned as we took our son and left...laziness coupled with incredibly horrible patient rapport!!!!! shame on all the staff who stood there. May you never be placed in a situation where your loved one is denied care because the staff is lazy as you were. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THE OTTUMWA WALK IN CLINIC.
